My Philosophy

We carry the echoes of our earliest experiences in our bodies and nervous systems — shaping how we love, fight, connect, and close off. These old survival stories often trap us in painful cycles: blame, shutdown, avoidance, quiet resentment, leaving us longing for more, disconnected, and starved of desire. These patterns once protected us. Now they erode trust and keep real intimacy at arm’s length.

The hopeful truth: None of this is permanent.

With unflinching honesty, deep compassion, and bold awareness, we interrupt these cycles — heal the underlying wounds, own our part without excuses, and build essential skills for real repair. Intimacy isn’t luck; it’s created through radical truth-telling, vulnerability that holds steady, and the daily courage to show up fully. In this space, you learn to reconnect with your desire, reignite the aliveness between you, and cultivate a profound closeness that feels alive and renewable.

My Journey

I’ve been in a committed relationship for over 25 years. Like many long-term partnerships, it’s asked a lot of us. We’ve had to pause, reflect, and reimagine what love means — more than once.

It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been meaningful. And it’s shown me that connection isn’t about luck — it’s about intention, courage, and the willingness to keep showing up.

That lived experience sits at the core of my work. I bring not just clinical training, but also the insight that comes from living through the complexities of relationships. I aim to offer what I once needed — someone who can hold complexity with care, and walk alongside you through the brave, often messy work of healing and reconnection.

My Practice

I am the Clinical Director of The Fitzroy Practice and I also work within the NHS at St Mary’s Hospital as a psychosexual therapist.

Whether you're seeking short-term support or deeper long-term exploration, I offer a grounded, relational space where real transformation can unfold.

My Approach

Together we slow down to see clearly what’s happening in the space between you — the repeating cycles that erode trust, the old defences that now block closeness, and the longings still waiting to be met.

Expect me to be warm and unflinching. I hold deep, compassionate space for your vulnerability while gently but firmly calling out what keeps you stuck.

I work multidimensionally and integratively, drawing on Relational Life Therapy, psychodynamic depth, EMDR, and psychosexual therapy to meet you exactly where you are and help you move toward real repair, reconnection, and aliveness.

My Qualifications

My clinical training includes a Master’s-level Advanced Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy from Tavistock Relationships, and postgraduate training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from Roehampton University.

I work integratively, drawing on a biopsychosocial lens that takes into account your emotional world, physical health, relational dynamics, and lived experience. This allows me to support each client with care that is nuanced, flexible, and deeply attuned.

More than anything, I’m a lifelong learner. When something feels unclear — in the therapy room or in life — it becomes an invitation to pause, reflect, and grow. I read widely, train consistently, and stay curious about the evolving ways we make sense of our inner and relational worlds.

We began seeing Gity during one of the most difficult times in our marriage. Coming from different cultural backgrounds and both having experienced challenging childhoods, we had developed defensive and hurtful ways of communicating. We had hit a wall and didn’t know how to move forward.

Through her guidance, we learned how to express our needs and feelings more clearly, while also learning to respect each other’s differences, both individually and culturally. Gity went above and beyond to make each of us feel truly seen and heard, helping us reconnect not just as a couple, but as individuals. Spiritually and emotionally, this has been the best investment we’ve made, both in ourselves and in our relationship.

"I have committed to a couple of short stints with different therapists in the past but stuck with Gity for a much longer period of time as I experienced a transformational process of becoming that saw us delve into depths I've not accessed before. Gity was simultaneously deeply empathic and challenging - she met me with softness, kindness and a warm energy but also held me accountable and pushed me in ways I didn't realise I needed to be in order to address patterns that were holding me back from the life I want for myself. I felt extremely safe, seen and supported by Gity - she revealed a passion and commitment to helping me heal and evolve beyond anything I've experienced with another practitioner before and I am grateful to have had her in my corner. It has been an intense, expansive and liberating experience - I would highly recommend Gity."

My partner and I had sessions for several months with Gity. She was fantastic. Helped me bring my confidence back- not just for myself but also in my relationship through the use of various exercises. She helped me genuinely realise that communication is the cornerstone of any relationship and that sex can be a powerful tool to enhance your intimate relationships. I’d highly recommend Gity for any sexual or relationship counselling for intimate relationships.
